After a long and satisfying 25 year career in the Newton-Wellesley area, I will be retiring from practice on March 1, 2024. I’m profoundly grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and care for each one of you. I’m also happy to have spent the last years of my career at the practice of  Dr. Marc Leibole and his professional, competent, and kind team lead by office manager, Jennifer Barberio.

 

I will be leaving you in the most excellent hands of my colleague, Eugenio Candal, MD. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist (like me) and a master cataract surgeon.   I’m confident that you will be impressed by his clinical acumen and his attentive bedside manner.

 

If you have an appointment scheduled with me after March 1, 2024, your appointment will be kept at the same day/time and place. When you arrive, you’ll meet Dr. Candal.
